In Alabama a recent law change has cleared the way for thousands of felons to restore their voting rights.

Thousands of felons across Alabama have registered to vote in recent weeks, as Democrats have been scrambling to get felons to the voting booth before the Dec 12 deadline to vote for senator in an Alabama special election.
